Our local village pub, The Gaggle of Geese, are making their popular apple juice again this year, (we’re hoping to persuade them to convert some to cider!) all donated from the villagers’ apple trees, including the ones in the pub garden. So today, we thought we would do our bit and start collecting up some of our thousands of apples. We went down this afternoon with our first 2 wheelbarrow loads and these are just the windfalls from one tree – another 4 trees to go!! Luckily we only live a 2 min walk from the pub and thankfully it is downhill all the way!
